During our student years, we recognized the need for more engaging and effective learning experiences at universities. Traditional methods, such as passive lectures, often failed to foster real understanding and engagement. This inspired us to personalize the learning experience by breaking down materials into smaller, interactive chunks with direct personal feedback.

After several proof-of-concept tests, a partnership with the OCW initiative “Een Slimmer Collegejaar” helped amplify our efforts and supported the first pilot implementation. The pilot at the University of Amsterdam was a success, generating significant excitement among students, with a notable increase in the pass rate compared to previous years.

The company’s vision is to expand this principle through a portfolio-based learning model that includes both mandatory components and sections open to individual exploration. By dynamically tailoring content to each student’s interests as they progress, we can create enhanced learning experiences for better outcomes.
