During my studies, I often found it hard to stay engaged during lectures and tutorials. That experience sparked my interest in creating more interactive and personalized learning tools.

In the process of building these tools, I spoke with dozens of educators. One recurring theme stood out: many see grading as one of the more frustrating and time-consuming parts of their work. Together with a key user, I mapped the grading process in detail and built a prototype. Cold outreach led to ongoing conversations with educators across institutions, whose feedback helped shape Eval—a tool that uses AI to support grading while keeping teachers fully in control.

Eval builds on previous work I did with rubric-based LLM evaluation. Interest continues to grow, with institutions requesting demos and exploring how Eval can integrate with their own rubrics and workflows.

LearnLoop aims to solve real problems in education—by listening closely, iterating quickly, and building tools educators genuinely want to use.
